Bump! Can we get this on the calendar?
Ya 3 minutes is a long time in some situations. The 3 minutes ensures the review goes through due to sync delays. But would be nice if users could customize their time frame and allow user the opportunity to take the risk of it not posting. That should be up to the user go take the risk.
Stripe allows auto split payouts. But it needs ownerrez to tell it what the split should be. For managing listings, it needs to be based on the commission split plus fees.
Owner would get their share and manager would get their commission automatically based on preferred settings.
This feature would allow for better ability to co-host for non-airbnb listings and provide hands free accounting.
For example, if you want to manage a listing for another person on VRBO, you would be able to have automatic payouts split appropriately between the owner and the co-host, similar to how Airbnb's auto payouts work.
This allows people to manage non-airbnb listings without having to handle the accounting.
Also, in many states, if you are handling the accounting for properties, then you would need a broker license. This may allow you to be hands off and may be able to stay compliant without a license. But check your own legal sources on that.
We currently have Schlage Encode but have an extremely high failure rate. They last about 6 months then they completely kick the can. Also, guests are constantly pushing random keys to wake it up and registers it as the first digit, then we get a call that they can't get in...
We have tried one kwikset halo and really like it. I know that RemoteLock supports it but looks like they were acquired by private equity? and forced users to annual subscriptions while jacking up the rates hundreds of percent. I'm really biased against companies that have predatory practices.
Ownerrez- any plans for a direct kwikset integration?
Others, any hardware brand recommendations?
Thanks,
Dan
I’ve got that set up too — I just didn’t include it in my screenshot to focus eyes on what I was trying to highlight.
I understand a potential guest can link over to our main site and eventually find the property, though in this age of wanting to minimize clicks and make things as easy/direct as possible for them it seems like it would be extremely beneficial to have the image/property name link back to that listing specifically.
I get it. I am in no way discounting this as a valid feature request. Just pointing out what you can accomplish currently so that the guest can see pertinent information!
Also, maybe since the Public Booking Link doesn't currently show the Property Data, perhaps a better way for now would be to use a Custom URL
For instance, did you know if you wanted to send a guest direct to your Five Points property you could send a URL that pre-populates the dates they were asking about?
A link like this would take them right to the Property:
https://comevisitnashville.com/five-points-jewel?or_arrival=2025-04-13&or_departure=2025-04-19
Or if you wanted them to see a list of all available properties you could send them to:
https://comevisitnashville.com/properties?or_arrival=2025-04-13&or_departure=2025-04-19
Once again, I don't disagree that it would be nice to have a link right on that form that says something like: For more information click here and it would take you to the PropertyURL specified in the OR Property settings.
Thanks for the feedback!
Bookings>List view
Can we please get a scroll bar at the top of the page, or the ability to resize and or filter?
First I sort so that whatever it is I want to see is at the top, but having to scroll all the way to the bottom just to scroll right is a major PITA.
Hi Scott,
The new form is the Public Booking Link. It is just an easy way to start the Booking Process outside of your normal booking widget.
Basically instead of saying go to my website and check it out, you can send someone this form for the exact dates they inquired about. We originally developed it for Google Vacation Rentals as they needed a Landing page. But others expressed they liked how it looked so we repurposed it as a Direct Booking Link. You can read more about it here: https://www.ownerrez.com/support/articles/send-public-booking-link
After they click book now on that form it will take them to the old Booking Flow for now. We are working on a whole new updated booking flow that should be out soon!

Hi Steven, where and how is this new form showing for guests?
To view it myself, I sent myself a quote and then followed the link, and I got the attached older form. I also went to book via my website and again got the same exact older form.
I’ve got that set up too — I just didn’t include it in my screenshot to focus eyes on what I was trying to highlight.

Hello Alece,
Normally by default at the bottom of the form is more contact info.
If you go to theming in your OwnerRez account: https://app.ownerrez.com/settings/theming/0/themeoverrideget
You will see a section where you can configure a Footer for Forms. You must have yours cleared, because by default this would normally have links back to your personal website and other contact information.
Here is a public link for my account. Just so you can see how it could be displayed.

It is a link to the main website not the individual property page, but at least a potential guest has a way to look at the rest of the site for now until this feature could be considered

YES! AGREED!
You should be able to communicate everything including email via the unified inbox, so it appears that nothing has changed for me with this update.
I'm guessing this is due to limitations by the OTA's themselves?
For example I'd like to be able to send my check-in details via Booking.com messaging, but I can't due to images, formatting etc? So I'm running the risk of my guest saying they never received the check-in details, because they had to be sent directly via email.
Hi Dan,
Yes, there should be a scroll bar available. Sounds like you found it! I'll mark this request as closed.
If you'd like to submit a new Feature Request for the placement of the scroll bar, feel free to do so! Including a screenshot would be great too, so we can really see what you mean.
I guess I would rather take one booking all year late at night last minute at 1000% then a bunch of bookings at the last minute. Most people will go away, but you will get one person at a very high premium. Your problem goes away 99% of the time.

I definitely need this cut off time feature!
Great minds think alike! We actually have exactly such a feature coming very soon!
This would help avoid duplicate requests, and make it easier to find topics that might be in the pipeline.
I dont think that's correct, Jason B.
We want to allow same day bookings, we just don't want to allow them, for example, after 4pm. Make sense?
You can solve this by spiking the price 1000% for last minute with Pricelabs.
Great to see this finally released. Is there any plan to address this? When I receive a VRBO booking request, there is an initial message that accompanies the booking. It comes into OR as "notes" on the booking. But in the inbox, there is no sign of the message. Often times there are important pieces of information in this initial booking message. Perhaps there is already a separate feature request for this?
