Obtain Your API Credentials
Contact StretchBill via their merchant application form, provide your Merchant information details, and receive your API Credentials by email from StretchBill after submitting your application form.
Setup & Connecting
Contact StretchBill via their merchant application form, provide your Merchant information details, and receive your API Credentials by email from StretchBill after submitting your application form.
In OwnerRez, navigate to Settings > Financial > Payment Methods > + Connect a Payment Method > Integrated Partners > Connect StretchBill.
Once you've clicked to connect the StretchBill payment method in OwnerRez, you will notice that we ask you for a set of two fields, called "API Credentials", at the top of the page:
- Login ID
- Transaction Key
If you already have a StretchBill account, enter the Login ID and Transaction Key that StretchBill has provided.
Select your Accepted Card Types, enter your credit card Statement Text, select which Properties you want StretchBill to use, and Save.

Testing
Verify your credentials using the Test API Credentials button after entering your StretchBill Login ID and Transaction Key in OwnerRez.
Click 'Run Test' to confirm the test. This sends a request to StretchBill with your API credentials. OwnerRez checks StretchBill's response to see if it looks right. If the test succeeded, you will see a confirmation.
To test your integration, perform a test transaction with a real credit card. Create a manual booking, collect a small payment (around $5), then void the payment using the Void & Delete option and cancel or delete the booking. This confirms that everything works correctly.
