You can choose your preferred processor, and OwnerRez will connect and process your guest's credit cards seamlessly.

Obtain Your Powertranz API Credentials
Setup & Connecting Powertranz
1. Contact Powertranz via their merchant application form, provide your Merchant information details, and Powertranz will email you your API Credentials.
2. In OwnerRez, navigate to Settings > Financial > Payment Methods > + Connect a Payment Method > Integrated Partners > Connect Powertranz.
Once you've clicked to connect the Powertranz payment method in OwnerRez, you will notice that we ask you for a set of two fields, called "API Credentials", at the top of the page:
- Login ID
- Transaction Key
If you already have a Powertranz account, enter the Login ID and Transaction Key that Powertranz has provided.
Select your Accepted Card Types, enter your credit card Statement Text, select which Properties you want Powertranz to use, and Save.

OwnerRez's Powertranz integration supports all currencies offered by the banks listed in the Business Locations.
Testing
To test your Powertranz integration, perform a test transaction with a real credit card. Create a manual booking, collect a small payment (around $5), then void the payment using the Void & Delete option and cancel or delete the booking. This confirms that everything works correctly.

FAQs
Does this integration between OwnerRez and Powertranz support 3DS payments?
Yes, the OwnerRez integration with Powertranz does support 3D Secure (3DS) payments. Powertranz supports 3D Secure authentication through its connected acquiring and processing network, which covers banks and processors across the Caribbean, Central America, and other supported markets.
However, 3D Secure eligibility is ultimately determined on a per-guest, per-card, per-issuing-bank basis. When a transaction is submitted for 3DS authentication, the guest's card issuing bank and card range determine whether the card supports 3DS authentication. If the card range does not support 3DS, the transaction can be identified accordingly and processed as a non-3DS transaction. The availability of 3DS authentication for a particular card depends on the card issuer and the card's 3DS capability.
