Obtain Your API Credentials
Receive your API Credentials directly from Kicbac after opening a new Kicbac merchant account. The Kicbac support team handles everything and shares any needed details directly with you after setup is complete.
Setup & Connecting
In OwnerRez, navigate to Settings > Financial > Payment Methods > + Connect a Payment Method > Integrated Partners > Connect Kicbac.
Once you've clicked to connect the Kicbac payment method in OwnerRez, you will notice that we ask you for a set of two fields, called "API Credentials", at the top of the page:
- Login ID
- Transaction Key
If you already have a Kicbac account, enter the Login ID and Transaction Key that Kicbac has provided.

Select your Accepted Card Types, enter your credit card Statement Text, select which Properties you want Kicbac to use, and Save.

Testing
Verify your credentials using the Test API Credentials button after entering your Kicbac Login ID and Transaction Key in OwnerRez.
Click 'Run Test' to confirm the test. This sends a request to Kicbac with your API credentials. OwnerRez checks Kicbac's response to ensure it looks correct. If the test succeeded, you will see a confirmation.
To test your integration, perform a test transaction with a real credit card. Create a manual booking, collect a small payment (around $5), then void the payment using the Void & Delete option and cancel or delete the booking. This confirms that everything works correctly.
