Our Avalara MyLodge Tax premium feature accounting integration allows you to streamline your tax reporting while complying with your local tax jurisdictions.
Avalara's MyLodgeTax helps you know:
- The taxes and rates in your jurisdictions
- When to report your rental revenue
- When Avalara will file your returns
- Whether your marketplace collects taxes on your behalf
Avalara MyLodge Tax allows you to manage your lodging tax compliance with greater ease — license, calculate, file, and remit for every property, all in one place, while reducing manual effort and providing precise, real-time tax calculations for bookings across different jurisdictions and tax types.
Steps for Integration
Navigate to Settings > Financial > Avalara, and click Connect Avalara.
Complete the contact information, choose your selected properties in the Choose an Avalara account, and connect it to OwnerRez pop-up.
On the next page, you'll see that an Avalara connection has been initiated, and instructions provided to complete your setup by clicking the Sign Up Now button.
After you click the Sign Up Now button, you'll be asked to complete your Avalara MyLodge Tax subscription.
Once you have completed your subscription, you'll receive email confirmations from OwnerRez that your Avalara account is active and your selected properties are connected. To complete your integration, follow the instructions on the Avalara integration Instructions tab.Upon initial signup, your selected properties will be activated automatically once the account becomes active. When your properties are connected, they will be listed on your Avalara integration page (Settings > Financial > Avalara).
