Prerequisites
- You are ready to start a 30-Day Trial and are aware of the costs involved after the trial, without having a demo call with our team.
- Or You may also have already had a demo call with our team and be ready to start your 30-day Trial.
- Access to your OwnerRez account with permission to edit your website and widget settings.
- Your website is either an OwnerRez Hosted Website or a custom site embedding the OwnerRez Availability/Booking widget.
Steps for Integration
1. Navigate to our OwnerRez Open Authorization app.
2. Click the “Connect with OwnerRez” button. This will redirect you to the Authorization Page, where you can click the Authorize button.
3. Enter your OwnerRez credentials.
4. Authorize access by clicking the “Authorize Booking Insights – Price Comparison Tool” button.
5. Once access is authorized, you will receive an Authorization Successful message. Our app will pull all the information needed to set up your website and properties in our platform.
6. Once this process is completed, one of our team members will contact you with your login information to our platform and our script installation instructions.
Configuration
If your website is an OwnerRez Hosted Website, complete the steps below once. If you have a custom website that uses only the OwnerRez availability/booking widget, repeat Step 3 for every property where you want the Price Comparison Tool to appear.
1. Open the Property Page in your Hosted Website.
2. In OwnerRez, navigate to Settings → My Website → Hosted Websites, and select your hosted site, then open your Property page. In the Property page editor, locate the ‘Booking/Inquiry Widget’ section and click “Change Settings."
3. Scroll to the ‘Conversion Tracking’ area. In the ‘Widget Loaded’ field, paste the following code snippet, then save. This loads Direct Booking Tools on the page and styles the Price Comparison Tool. Add the following script.

4. Validate the Installation by doing the following.
- Open a property page on your site.
- Trigger the booking/quote widget (choose dates/guests).
- Look for the Direct Booking Tools price comparison to render near the price/quote area.
- If you are using a custom site with an embedded OwnerRez widget, ensure you added the script for each property where the tool should appear.
Troubleshooting
If the Direct Booking Tool does not appear:
- Confirm the code was pasted in ‘Widget Loaded’ (not other events) and that the widget is visible on the page.
- Browser cache: Hard refresh or open an incognito window after saving changes.
- Conflicts: If other scripts are injected in the quote area, temporarily disable them to test.
- Property-specific embeds: On custom sites, repeat Step 3 per property page using the OwnerRez widget.
