The Right to Rent Collaborative is a community of property managers working together to protect vacation rental homeowners’ right to rent. With the Right to Rent Program, you can collect a nominal $2 per reservation from your guests and automatically donate it to Right to Rent monthly. The enrollment process is easy and quick, but your impact will be long-lasting.

Steps for Integration

2. Once the form is completed, you’ll receive an email from Support@R2RCollaborative.org. Click the button in the email to Complete Your PMS Connection.

3. Clicking the button in the email will open this window to securely connect OwnerRez using OAuth. Click Authorize to initiate. 4. After authorization, you will automatically be directed to Stripe to enter your payment details. Stripe is Right to Rent’s donation payment processor. 5. Once you’ve saved a payment method, you will be redirected to a confirmation page and receive a confirmation email that you are successfully enrolled.

6. Your contribution will be automatically calculated each month based on reservation checkouts, collected via the payment method you entered in Stripe, and directed to support advocacy efforts that defend and expand fair vacation rental regulations in your backyard and across the country. Thank you!

7. Remember to add the $2 fee to your reservations so you can collect it from your guests (if you choose to do so). We recommend rolling this into your existing per-reservation admin fees. 8. Both the confirmation page and email will include a link to your exclusive R2R manager badge! Place the badge anywhere it will help build brand trust. We suggest:

  • Your website footer
  • Your prospect recruitment landing pages
  • Your About page
  • Your printed handouts and mailers
  • Your email footers and signatures
  • Your social media page cover images

Only select fields are used to automatically calculate your monthly donation based on the checkout dates of applicable reservations. This information includes Property state, reservation amount, reservation creation date, and reservation checkout date.
