Lynx offers PMS Integrated Keyless Entry, Home Automation for Thermostat, Leak/ Noise/ Smoke/ CO sensors combined with Workflow Automation and Guest Communication.
Steps for integration
For complete instructions, see Lynx's OwnerRez PMS: How to Setup Integration support article.
The Lynx door lock integration requires an OwnerRez manual lock integration to work correctly. To begin, follow the instructions to configure a Manual Lock.
Navigate to Settings > Workflow & Devices > Door Locks > + Connect a Lock Integration > Maintained by Third Parties > Connect Lynx Automation.
In the popup modal, click on Open the Lynx Automation Website to complete the Lynx Door Lock Integration.
The Lynx lock integration is maintained by a third-party unaffiliated with OwnerRez. Users must first sign up or register with the application to connect to this integration. Sign up or log in to Lynx: https://app.getlynx.co/
Any lock changes or integration settings will be made through the Lynx application outside OwnerRez. Any support questions or technical problems with this integration should be directed to Lynx, the maintainer.
You can also follow along with Lynx's OwnerRez PMS: How to Setup Integration support article.
Click the Integration icon on the top left side menu.
Click the + icon to add a new Integration.
Please complete the new integration form with the information in the screenshot below. Then, select OwnerRez as the Partner and click Add.
Next, click Authorize and then Confirm, which will open up the OwnerRez Authorization window. Select Authorize Lynx.
Next, click Confirm.Authorize OwnerRez to share your data by clicking on Authorize Lynx Automation.
Once Authorized, you should see OwnerRez listed under Integrations with the status set to Authorized.
You can now link your properties in Lynx with the properties in OwnerRez. After setting up and linking the integration, follow Lynx's How to Add a Property support article.
Go to Properties in Lynx, Edit Property Details.
Set your PMS/Booking Site to OwnerRez and your Integration to OwnerRez. You will then see a dropdown of all your properties in OwnerRez. Select the property that corresponds to the property/door lock you have set up in Lynx.
Once the property/properties are linked, you will see the generated access codes inside OwnerRez.
Lynx automatically generates door lock codes and sends them to users' OwnerRez accounts. The door lock custom field code generated and sent to OR by Lynx is {BXLYNXACCESSCODE}, and this is the field code that users should be using when creating an email template.
For additional information, see Lynx's OwnerRez PMS: FAQ support article.
Follow the instructions in the Before the Guest Arrives section of the Trigger Examples support article to create templates and triggers to send your guests their door lock codes.
