When a Quote or Booking is created, it automatically inherits the Property Rules in place at that time. If you change the Property Rules later, those changes will be applied to any future Quotes or Bookings at that property but not to any existing ones.
Apply Rules to Other Properties
However, for those rare situations where a retroactive change is appropriate by navigating to Properties > the specific Property that has the rules that you'd like to share with other properties > General Info > Rules > Apply To button at the top of each Property Rules page.
Clicking the Apply To button allows you to select exactly which type of Rules you want to apply to other properties. Rule categories include:

Apply Rules to Pre-Existing Future Quotes and Bookings
Bookings and quotes have their own sets of rules that can be applied to pre-existing and future quotes and bookings when the following items are selected during the Apply Rules to Other Properties process. Those items include the following:
- First Payment
- Second Payment
- Security Deposit
- Cancellation Policy
- Check In/Check Out
You can update existing ones to match the new rules or leave them as they are now. If you choose to update, the updates will be applied to those associated with the properties and arriving in the future.
Note that changing the Rules will not affect any Rental Agreements that have already been signed. If you change terms that would affect existing Rental Agreements, we recommend that you ask the guest to sign an updated rental agreement.
