Create Rooms & Connect Photos to Rooms

OwnerRez supports the concept of "Rooms" on listings where you can define any room in your vacation rental and show photos for those specific rooms. Users who are Airbnb Channel Integrated will appreciate this feature that supports the requirement of associating your property photos with rooms and accessibility amenities that will sync to Airbnb. To learn more about all of the OwnerRez Property Photos functionality, we recommend that users view the Photos Overview and Adding Photos, Rearranging & Deleting first.

Before you begin to create your rooms, be sure to review Airbnb's Supported Room Names.

Private vs. Shared Spaces

OwnerRez Users can define rooms or spaces in their properties as private or shared. What are shared rooms or spaces?

  • Shared rooms or spaces, such as a shared kitchen or outdoor space, are shared with other guests or hosts outside of your travel party.
  • Private rooms or spaces, such as living rooms and kitchens, are reserved for the exclusive use of your travel party only, such as renting an entire home or condo.

Properties listed on Airbnb, including Airbnb channel-integrated properties, support shared spaces, and rooms should reflect whether they are private or shared spaces

Vrbo does not support inside shared spaces.

Accessibility Amenities

It is important to note that for all Airbnb channel-integrated properties that have set Accessibility Amenities, Airbnb requires at least one photo for each Accessibility Amenity. For more specific Airbnb information, see the Airbnb article for hosts, Adding Accessibility Features to Listings.

See the Accessibility Settings section of the Amenities support article for specific information.
