Preferences

Customizing OwnerRez preferences lets you tailor your interface for a streamlined experience. In the Preferences section, you can adjust location, time formats, booking views, messaging roles, and partner tools to better suit your needs.

Localization

OwnerRez understands that not all users are based in the United States or speak English. Users can select their preferred culture and date formats for calendar displays in OwnerRez.

To configure your personal preferences, navigate to your Account > Preferences > Localization.To configure your personal preferences, navigate to your Account > Preferences > Localization.

Once configured, your booking calendars, charges, transactions, property management commissions, and quotes will reflect your preferences. Once configured, your booking calendars, charges, transactions, property management commissions, and quotes will reflect your preferences.

Wondering about currencies? Your account settling currency is configured in your payment processor integration (Settings > Financial > Payment Methods > your Payment Method >  Change > Currency), and guest-facing currencies are configured in Settings > Branding & Legal > Guest Culture.

Bookings

Under the Bookings section, you can set which booking view you would like as your default booking view. You can also make the booking view "sticky" so that when you switch views, it will return you to that view when you come back to Bookings. Check the checkbox to indicate whether you prefer that View to be Sticky. The Ribbon View section allows you to make the following selections:

  • Check the Show property color on bookings ribbon background check box.
  • Select either Grey or Property Color for the Block-Off Color.
  • Select either Candy Striped or Solid for the Block-Off Background.

Click on Save.

Property Management

If your account has the Property Management premium feature enabled, you can choose to customize your property filters and lists to group by owners by checking the Group By Owner checkbox.If your account has the Property Management premium feature enabled, you can choose to customize your property filters and lists to group by owners by checking the Group By Owner checkbox.

Messaging
