Inquiry Import

OwnerRez currently supports inquiry communications with listing sites via email parsing of notification emails.

Our system parses emails from listing sites by using an OwnerRez email address in their contact settings. This ensures that inquiries are sent to both you and us, allowing us to manage responses on your behalf. Currently, this email forwarding is most effective for local sites like "GatlinburgCabins.com" or "DisneyVacationHomes.com."

OwnerRez integrates with Airbnb, Booking.com, and Vrbo's channel messaging systems, enabling you to communicate directly with guests within these systems from within OwnerRez, separate from email.

This article will cover the integration of inquiries for your local/regional listing sites. To get started, go to the Settings > Channels-Identifier Mapping section of your account.

  • Scroll down to find the listing site or channel you use for inquiries, such as Alabama Vacation Home Rentals if your property is in Alabama.
  • Find a channel or listing site you want to use, click the button next to it, and follow the prompts to add it to your OwnerRez account. You'll be taken to a settings page with a customized setup guide for that site.
  • Set the inquiry email address on the listing site to use your user-level inquiry forwarding address (starting with oru) and use the manual property mapping feature to match the listing site property ID against the OwnerRez property ID.
