Recent Change to “Apply Season By” Setting in OwnerRez Pricing Preferences

We wanted to let you know about a small but important update that was released today (5/7).

As part of our ongoing efforts to simplify pricing settings and avoid channel conflicts, we removed the “Apply Season By” option in Pricing Preferences. This setting was rarely used and is not compatible with channels.

What’s Changed:

  • The “Apply Season By” setting (Arrival, Departure, or Split Across) was removed from Pricing Preferences.

  • Going forward, OwnerRez will automatically treat seasons as “Split Across” under the covers. This approach is the most compatible and consistent across channels.

No Action Needed:

This feature only applied to direct bookings; channel bookings have always used the “Split Across” method, which is now the default and only option for all bookings. This change will only affect future direct bookings that span multiple seasons. Instead of applying rules based solely on the arrival or departure date, those bookings will now follow a split-season approach.
