Short-term vacation rental surcharges are additional fees charged on top of the base rental rate when booking a vacation property. These fees help cover various operational costs and services related to maintaining and managing your short-term vacation rental property for guests.
OwnerRez Standard Surcharge Types are pre-configured fees (including guest fees, pet fees, cleaning fees, linen fees, and more) applied to all direct bookings, and synced to your channel integration listings (e.g., Airbnb, Vrbo).

Is Taxable
How will your surcharge or fee be affected by your local tax authorities? Only you can make that determination, but if your fee is not affected by taxes, you can select the No radio button so that the surcharge does not raise the taxable amount.
Conditions
With the exception of the conditions for Rate Adjustment Fees, all other Standard Surcharges or Fees (e.g., guest, cleaning, etc.) allow users to add Listing Site or Property Condition options to provide additional criteria to the surcharge.
And you can add multiple Conditions by clicking + Add Condition for even further criteria.
Want to limit your surcharge or fee to just your direct booking website? Add Conditions > Applicability > Listing Site > One Of, and select your website.
Or do you want to limit the surcharge to specific listing channels? Add Conditions > Applicability > Listing Site > One Of, and select your desired listing channels.
Do you need to limit this fee to specific properties? Add Conditions > Applicability > Listing Site > One Of, and select the specific property/ies.
Options
If you want to hide the surcharge or fee name and amount from your guests, check the' Categorize this as a 'rent' line item checkbox.
