Additional surcharges and fees help cover various operational costs and services related to maintaining and managing your short-term vacation rental property for guests. OwnerRez Standard Rate Adjustment Fees are pre-set charges applied to rent only, either as a fixed amount or a percentage of the rent. Setting up your rate adjustment as described in this support article is then automatically applied to all direct bookings and synced to your channel listings (e.g., Airbnb, Vrbo).
Rate Adjustment Fee
Navigate to Settings > Surcharges > + Create Surcharge > Rate Adjustment Fee.
Fill out the Description field with some descriptive text and choose a Fixed amount per night or a Percent of rent per stay in the Amount Type and Amount sections.
Is Taxable
All Standard Rate Adjustment Surcharges are automatically taxable, as rent taxability is configured in your pricing preferences.

OwnerRez Standard Rate Adjustment Fees are pre-configured fees applied to all direct bookings, and synced to your channel integration listings (e.g., Airbnb, Vrbo).
You can also add a Per-Channel Rate Adjustment to your individual channel integrations. For more information, see our Per-Channel Rate Adjustment support article.
Booking.com
The OwnerRez Booking.com (BDC) channel integration does not support these surcharges or fees. However, you can log into your Booking.com Extranet and create a fee that will be applied to bookings as appropriate.
