OwnerRez Supplemental Discount Types are pre-configured discounts (including manual and optional discounts) applied to direct bookings. Configuring discount codes, such as MYVACAY or WELCOMEBACK, that guests can manually enter for a specific discount during the booking process lets you control pricing flexibility, reward loyal guests, incentivize direct bookings, respond to market conditions, and build personal relationships with guests.
Remember that OwnerRez discount codes only work for direct bookings, whether through an OwnerRez Website or a website using OwnerRez widgets, and cannot be applied to any channel bookings. Also, when manually creating a quote in OwnerRez, there is no option to enter a discount code because it isn't necessary—you can simply manually enter discounts as needed.
Discount Code
Navigate to Settings > Pricing > Discounts > + Create Discount > Discount Code.
On the Create Discount page, enter the Description and the actual Discount Code. You can also optionally check the "Remove all other discounts when this code is applied." If selected, this discount code is applied on its own, and any other Length of Stay or Last Minute discounts will be removed when this code is used. If not selected, this discount can be combined with other non-coded discounts.
In the Amount Type field, you can select a Fixed amount of discount per stay or night, or a Percentage of rent per stay, or Percent of subtotal per stay.
