Upcoming Improvement to Airbnb Reviews in Your OwnerRez Account

Body

Hi [first name]!

We’re reaching out with an important update regarding Airbnb reviews and an improvement we are making in the next few days to help strengthen your listing reputation and overall Airbnb performance.

What’s changing

To help our users maintain strong review scores on Airbnb, we will soon begin turning on Auto-Reviews by default for Airbnb bookings. This feature automatically posts a professional, positive guest review on your behalf after checkout, something many hosts already use to increase response rates and review quality.

In the next few days, Auto-Reviews will be enabled for accounts where this feature has never been turned on before.

Why we made this change

Hosts who use Auto-Reviews consistently see:

  • Higher average star ratings ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
  • More frequent guest reviews left in return
  • A stronger path toward Superhost qualifications
  • Improved standing with Airbnb’s performance metrics

Airbnb places significant value on host review participation, and this update helps ensure your listings stay competitive while enhancing trust and engagement with future guests.

You remain fully in control

You can adjust or turn off Auto-Reviews at any time.

We’ve prepared a set of clean, friendly templates for you (which you can fully customize), and the system will automatically skip reviews in the event of:

  • Security deposit disputes
  • Problematic guest behavior
  • Any situation where leaving a review may not be appropriate

Want to manage or customize your settings?

You can manage your preferences anytime under:
Reviews → Host Reviews → Automatic 5-Star Reviews

If you have any questions or concerns about this update, we’re here to help. Just reply to this email.

Thanks for being part of the OwnerRez community!
