Update to Airbnb “Getting Around” description syncing

We wanted to give you a heads up about a change to how transit (a.k.a., “Getting Around”) information syncs between OwnerRez and Airbnb.
What changed
Airbnb’s “Transit” description field has been renamed to “Getting Around,” and OwnerRez now syncs this using your property’s “Getting Around” description instead of the older “Getting There” field.
Important note: Your "Getting There" field data will still be available inside OwnerRez; we're just no longer sending it to Airbnb after we drop our weekly release tomorrow.
What you should do
- Check your property's "Getting Around" field; this is what's now going to sync to Airbnb.
- If you have content in "Getting There" that should go to Airbnb’s “Getting Around” section, create an Airbnb description override (read more about overrides in our help docs) and use the {PDESGETTHERE} merge field to incorporate your “Getting There” content into Airbnb’s “Getting Around” description.
Timing: Please make any needed updates no later than January 14th (tomorrow) at 5 am EST. You can always do this later; the field will just be empty until you add info to the “Getting Around” section in your property description inside OwnerRez.
