Training - How to Allow Your Team to Listen to a Phone Call Made with the Dialer

Here's the process that will allow someone to call a client using the OwnerRez Dialer function, and include other team members so they can listen to the call.

Participants:

  1. The OwnerRez Client (the person you are calling)
  2. The OwnerRez CSE making the phone call to the client
  3. The Observers/Trainees Who are Listening to the Call

Process:

  • Set up a Google Meet for the time of the call.
  • Have Observers/Trainees join the Google Meet call like they would normally.
  • Have OwnerRez CSE join on their personal cell phone. They should join using the meeting link - not by calling in with the phone number provided for a Meet.
  • All Observers/Trainees should turn off their mics. (The CSE making the call does not turn off their mic.)
  • The OwnerRez CSE should raise the volume on their computer to make sure it's fairly loud. This is to make sure the Observers/Trainees can hear what the client is saying.
  • OwnerRez CSE places their personal cell on the keyboard of the laptop or somewhere near their speakers.
  • CSE uses OwnerRez Dialer to place the phone call, just as you would normally. DO NOT ask the system to call you first. Just conduct the call through your laptop.
  • Conduct the call with the Client and make sure to hang up via the Dialer when finished.
