HostIQ is the AI decision engine for STR managers. By connecting HostIQ with OwnerRez, hosts and property managers can pull booking data, guest data, revenue data, and messages from OwnerRez into HostIQ to help build forecasts, set goals, track performance, identify booking opportunities, get suggested actions, and better manage guest preferences, communications, and relationships. HostIQ also uses webhooks to help manage this data in real time as updates occur in OwnerRez.
Once connected, HostIQ helps OwnerRez users make smarter decisions from intelligent data, including performance insights, guest relationship management, booking gap detection, revenue guidance, and ASK Host IQ support for analyzing performance, getting help with decisions, and creating action-based content.
Steps for Integration
Follow the steps below to connect your OwnerRez account to HostIQ.
1. Create your HostIQ team
After creating your HostIQ account, enter your team name. This is usually the name of your business or property management company. Click Create Team to continue.
2. Choose OwnerRez as your PMS
On the Choose PMS screen, select OwnerRez as the property management system you want to connect with HostIQ. Click Select under OwnerRez.
3. Connect HostIQ to OwnerRez
On the Configure PMS screen, click Connect with OwnerRez. You will be redirected to OwnerRez to sign in and authorize the HostIQ connection.
4. Authorize the connection in OwnerRez
On the OwnerRez authorization screen, review the connection request. Click Authorize HostIQ to allow OwnerRez to securely share approved data with HostIQ. After authorizing, you will be redirected back to HostIQ.
5. Start the data sync
After authorization is complete, HostIQ will begin syncing available data from OwnerRez. Click Start Sync. HostIQ pulls booking data, guest data, revenue data, and messages from OwnerRez into HostIQ, along with available property, pricing, occupancy, and performance data. HostIQ uses webhooks to help keep this data updated in real time as changes occur in OwnerRez.
6. Monitor sync progress
The sync may take a few minutes, depending on the number of properties, bookings, guests, and historical records in your OwnerRez account. During the sync, you will see properties and bookings being imported.
7. Complete setup
Once the sync is complete, your HostIQ account is ready. You can view dashboards, set property goals, invite team members, book a free onboarding session, or go directly to your dashboard.

After your OwnerRez booking, guest, revenue, and message data are pulled into HostIQ and kept current through webhooks, you can begin using HostIQ to manage performance and take action.

Does HostIQ change my OwnerRez bookings or rates?
No. HostIQ does not currently create, cancel, or modify bookings in OwnerRez, nor does it push rate changes to OwnerRez. Users remain responsible for making changes inside OwnerRez or their preferred pricing workflow.
