How to Participate
Choose a Term - Select a term that you believe should be included in either our:
- Internal Glossary: Terms used within our company
- External Glossary: Terms our customers need to understand
Create Your Submission - Your glossary submission should include:
- Term: The word or phrase to be defined
- Definition: A clear, concise explanation (1-2 sentences)
- Additional Context: When/how the term is used (optional)
- Related Terms: Other glossary entries that connect to this term (optional)
Submit Your Entry - Submit your glossary through the OwnerRez Glossary Submissions form. Ensure you are logged into your OwnerRez Google account so we can properly credit your contribution.
Review Process
- The OwnerRez Docs team will review all submissions, and they may ask for clarification if applicable.
- Your submission/s may be edited for brevity and clarity.
Examples of Great Submissions
Example 1: Internal Glossary
- DOGFOODERS - OwnerRez team members who are also OwnerRez users. They participate in the Dogfooders Google Chat and often enable new OwnerRez features for their own properties in private beta.
Example 2: External Glossary

API - acronym for Application Programming Interface, which is a process that allows two applications to talk to each other – like the OwnerRezAPI for Apps or the OwnerRez API for Channel Integration.
