What happens when an account is closed?
When an account is closed, we disable most active things to make sure they don't pop back up immediately and start being processed if a user is reopened -- that could cause all kinds of trouble. Only a couple of things are deleted -- basically those things that can't be disabled and re-enabled.
In particular, we disable:
- Triggers
- Channels
- Calendar Syncs
- Hosted Websites
- Third party alerts
- QuickBooks syncs
- Forum watches
We delete:
- Scheduled emails (on bookings)
- Scheduled Payments
- Scheduled Secdeps
- Property Share connections
- Access grants
- API connections
Other stuff:
- Any open secdeps will be released
Closing doesn't affect taxes, payment processors etc. so for accounts that don't have those, either the user deleted them themselves, or were never set up.
