Transfer information between OwnerRez Accounts

The ProConnect service is designed to work with you on all aspects of setting up your account including things like website, branding, email templates, renter agreements and API connections. The primary focus is to make sure your properties are set up completely and accurately, and then to make sure your properties are syncing to channels correctly.

When a property is already set up in OwnerRez under a different user account, we can utilize different tools to pull over a lot of information to the new account. In order to do so, we will need to receive permission, in writing, from the Account Owner that we are approved to transfer over the following categories of information:

• Payment Rules
• Seasons & Rates
• Surcharges & Discounts
• Templates & Triggers
• Legal Agreement
• Custom Fields
• Booking Data

If the listing is currently on Vrbo or AirBNB then we are able to use our Listing Import tool to import the following publicly available information:

• Property Listing Information – Includes rules, description, photos, bedrooms & bathrooms, amenities and nightly rates

Please send an email to the account owner where the properties need to be transferred from, and copy us, so that we can have the written approval to proceed with transferring the data.

Process for transferring data from one OwnerRez account to another

Data that can be Exported/Imported

• Export/Import the Properties template. That takes care of
  • Rules
• Import Property Listing Information – Includes rules, description, photos, bedrooms & bathrooms, amenities and nightly rates
• Export/Import Seasonal Rates template. That takes care of:
  • Seasons & Rates
• Export/Import Custom Fields template. That takes care of:
  • Custom fields that may have been setup in the templates
• Setup Custom Sources
• Export/Import Bookings template. That takes care of:
  • All reservation information
• Export/Import Reviews template. That takes care of:
  • Reviews

**Note - you should import Custom Fields and Custom Sources prior to importing Bookings as there may be data related to those fields that will come over in the import.

Data that needs to be transferred

• Open two different browser windows (Chrome and Edge) and log into each account in privacy/incognito mode. Pull up the same page in each account and copy info from one screen to the other. This takes care of:
  • Surcharges & Discounts
  • Taxes
  • Cancellation Policies
  • Check-in/Check-out
  • Templates & Triggers
  • Legal Agreement
