OwnerRez Snippets are short, reusable, pre-written blocks of content like templates that you insert instantly in the Inbox using the forward slash / keyboard character, saving time and preventing you from typing the same words over and over. Snippets can use field codes and be shared with your team or kept private.

Create

Create your own Snippet by navigating to Settings > Messaging > Snippets > + Create Snippet.Create your own Snippet by navigating to Settings > Messaging > Snippets > + Create Snippet.

On the Create Snippet page, enter the Name, Shortcut text, snippet body text using field codes, determine if you want to share your snippet with your team by toggling the Share with team toggle button on or off (default), and Preview and/or Save.On the Create Snippet page, enter the Name, Shortcut text, snippet body text using field codes, determine if you want to share your snippet with your team by toggling the Share with team toggle button on or off (default), and Preview and/or Save.

Edit

There are a couple of ways to edit your snippet, directly in the Inbox or by selecting the snippet in the Snippet grid.

Inbox

In the Inbox, you can edit your snippet by clicking the gear icon in the upper-right corner.In the OwnerRez Inbox, hosts can use their existing Snippets by either clicking on the Snippets icon or typing in the forward slash / keyboard character to open the Snippets menu. You can edit your snippet by clicking the gear icon in the upper-right corner.

When you click on the Manage Snippets gear icon in the upper-right corner, that specific snippet will open in a pop-up, allowing you to edit it. You can also search for other snippets by searching in the top Search snippets field. Grid

In the Snippet grid (Settings > Messaging > Snippets), click on or select the snippet you want to edit by checking the left checkbox, and click the Edit button.In the Snippet grid (Settings > Messaging > Snippets), click on or select the snippet you want to edit by checking the left checkbox, and click the Edit button.

On the Edit Snippet page, you can edit your existing snippet as desired, then choose whether to share it with your team by toggling the Share with team toggle button on or off (default), and preview and save. Use in Inbox

In the OwnerRez Inbox, hosts can use their existing Snippets by either clicking on the Snippets icon or typing in the forward slash / keyboard character to open the Snippets menu. Import/Export

Hosts can import from Templates or import their own snippet Excel spreadsheet by clicking the Import button in the upper-right corner of the Snippets grid (Settings > Messaging > Snippets). Export snippets by selecting a format from the Export button dropdown list (e.g., Excel, CSV, TSV, or For import, which exports your snippets in the OwnerRez Snippet template) in the upper-right corner of the Snippets grid (Settings > Messaging > Snippets).Hosts can import from Templates or import their own snippet Excel spreadsheet by clicking the Import button in the upper-right corner of the Snippets grid (Settings > Messaging > Snippets). If you select For import, you can quickly add more snippets to the OwnerRez Snippet template and import their updated spreadsheet. Hosts can also import snippets by navigating to Tools > Import/Export > Contact > Import Snippets.Hosts can also import snippets by navigating to Tools > Import/Export > Contact > Import Snippets.
