Fill calendar gaps with same-day bookings
Vrbo same-day bookings are supported in OwnerRez, allowing properties using Instant Book to accept reservations on the same day a guest checks in.
Enabling same-day bookings can help you:
- Capture last-minute reservations: Turn open nights into confirmed stays and minimize calendar gaps.
- Stay competitive: Be available to travelers searching for a property they can book and stay at right away.
- Maximize occupancy: Open up additional opportunities to host guests on dates that may otherwise remain vacant.
- Maintain flexibility: Same-day bookings are optional, so you can decide whether they work for your business.
When enabled, guests can book your property on Vrbo up to 12:00 PM local time on the day of check-in.
Same-day bookings are only available for Instant Book properties, as Request to Book reservations require additional review time. If your listings are currently set to Request to Book, consider switching to Instant Book to take advantage of same-day bookings and potentially increase your listing visibility.

It can also give your property preferential placement in Vrbo search results, promotional badging, and strikethrough pricing, helping it stand out to travelers.
