Action recommended: Check the Sync setting on your reconnected Airbnb listings

We're contacting you because one or more of your Airbnb listings may have stopped receiving your listing details from OwnerRez. When you reconnected the listing on your Airbnb channel's Connect Properties page, its Sync setting changed from Everything to Rates & Availability. We've fixed the cause, but we haven't changed your existing listings, so please check the Sync setting on the listings listed at the bottom of this email.
What happened
When a listing that synced Everything was disconnected and then reconnected on the Connect Properties page, its Sync setting showed Rates & Availability instead. A listing can be disconnected with Disconnect Properties, by Airbnb unlinking it, or by reauthorizing the channel. Saving the page changed the listing to Rates & Availability without any warning.
With Rates & Availability, your rates and availability sync with Airbnb. OwnerRez stops sending the listing's details, descriptions, amenities, booking settings, photos, and rooms.
What we fixed
When you reconnect a listing, the Connect Properties page now keeps the listing's previous Sync setting. Save also asks, "Overwrite with OwnerRez data?" before mapping the listing.
What we didn't change
We haven't switched your existing listings back to Everything. Everything replaces the content on Airbnb with OwnerRez content, so it would overwrite anything you've edited directly on Airbnb since the reconnection.
What happens if you don’t take action
Your rates and availability will keep syncing to Airbnb like they do now. The difference is that any changes you make in OwnerRez to the listing’s details, descriptions, amenities, booking settings, photos, and rooms won’t be sent to Airbnb. Whatever is on Airbnb today will stay as it is until you edit it there yourself or switch Sync back to Everything.
Action recommended: check your listings
- Open your Airbnb channel and check the Sync setting for each listing listed at the bottom of this email.
- If you want OwnerRez to resend your listing details to Airbnb, change Sync to Everything by following the instructions in the Mapping Properties section on the Airbnb Connecting & Setup support article.
- If you manage that listing's details on Airbnb on purpose, leave Sync on Rates & Availability. No change is needed.
